The 15 best Net-30 vendors that report to Dun & Bradstreet (2026)
The 15 Net-30 vendors that actively report to D&B, Experian, or Equifax — organized by tier and category. What each requires and the optimal application order.

Net-30 vendor accounts — where you buy goods and pay the invoice 30 days later — are the fastest way to build business credit that actually shows up on your D&B, Experian, and Equifax files. This guide covers the 15 vendors that reliably report, organized by category and difficulty.

How Net-30 accounts build credit
When you open a Net-30 account with a reporting vendor, three things happen behind the scenes:
- The vendor extends you 30-day payment terms on your first order (typically after 1 prepaid order).
- Every invoice becomes a "trade line" on your business credit file, showing your credit limit and payment behavior.
- The bureau (D&B, Experian, or Equifax) updates your file monthly with each new invoice + payment.
Once 3+ vendors are reporting, D&B publishes your Paydex score. See Paydex score explained for the details.
Starter tier — the 5 easiest
Start here. These vendors approve without personal guarantees, don't require prior trade history, and report quickly.
| Vendor | Category | Reports to | Approval time | First-order min |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Uline | Shipping & packaging | D&B | 1-3 days | $50 |
| Quill | Office supplies | D&B, Experian, Equifax | 1-5 days | $50 |
| Grainger | Industrial supplies | D&B | 1-3 days | None |
| Crown Office Supplies | Office supplies | D&B | 1-3 days | $75 |
| Summa Office Supplies | Office supplies | D&B | 1-5 days | $50 |
Uline (start here)
The most-recommended starter Net-30. Uline approves ~90% of applications with a clean EIN and DUNS, no personal guarantee needed. Reports to D&B within 30-60 days of your first paid invoice. Order any shipping supplies you actually use — boxes, tape, mailers.
Quill (the tri-bureau starter)
Quill is one of only two starter vendors that reports to all three business bureaus. Owned by Staples, so pricing is competitive. Requires one prepaid order first, then Net-30 opens at checkout. Uses Gmail-domain fraud filters — use a domain-based email for best results.
Tip
Apply to Uline, Quill, and Grainger simultaneously, not sequentially. All three approve independently and reporting starts on your first paid invoice, so parallelizing gets you to the 3-line minimum ~60 days faster than doing them one at a time.
Second tier — bigger trade lines
After 60-90 days of clean starter history, add these. They typically request one to two trade references (list your Uline / Quill accounts) and report to multiple bureaus.
| Vendor | Category | Reports to | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Staples Business Advantage | Office supplies | D&B, Experian | Quill's B2B sister — bigger orders, account manager |
| Office Depot Business | Office supplies | D&B | Slower reporter — 60-75 days typical |
| Sherwin-Williams Commercial | Paint & coatings | D&B | Trades-focused (painters, contractors) |
| Ferguson Enterprises | Plumbing & HVAC | D&B, Experian | Trades-focused. Larger accounts get Net-45 |
Fuel & fleet
If your business burns fuel (delivery, trucking, field services), these fuel cards build credit while you spend money you'd spend anyway.
| Vendor | Reports to | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| WEX Fleet Card | D&B, Experian | Multi-vehicle fleets, dual-bureau reporting |
| Shell Small Business Card | Experian | Single-vehicle owners who stick to Shell |
Big-box store cards
Home Depot and Lowe's both offer business credit accounts (not the store credit cards — those go on personal credit). Both are useful for adding Experian Business + SBFE coverage, which is required for tier-3 business credit cards.
| Vendor | Reports to | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Home Depot Commercial Account | Experian, SBFE | SBFE reporting unlocks Chase Ink Preferred |
| Lowe's Business Credit | Experian | Home Depot competitor, similar underwriting |
| Amazon Business Pay-by-Invoice | D&B, Experian | Slower reporter (60-90 days) |
Paid fast-track: Nav Prime
Nav Prime is a paid subscription ($49-$149/mo) that reports itself as a trade line to all threebureaus — D&B, Experian, and Equifax. It's the only starter option that touches Equifax, which makes it disproportionately valuable if you want tri-bureau coverage fast.
Only worth it if your budget allows and you specifically need Equifax coverage. Otherwise Uline + Quill + Grainger cover D&B + Experian for free.
The optimal application order
Applying in this order minimizes friction (starter → mid-tier → premium):
| Order | Vendor | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1-3 (parallel) | Uline + Quill + Grainger | Get to 3 D&B trade lines to trigger Paydex publication |
| 4 | Crown Office Supplies OR Summa | Depth — 4th line stabilizes Paydex |
| 5 | Ferguson OR Sherwin-Williams | Bigger trade lines + dual-bureau coverage |
| 6 | Home Depot Commercial | Adds SBFE coverage (needed for tier-3 cards) |
| 7 | Amazon Business Pay-by-Invoice | Reinforces D&B + Experian; useful if you buy on Amazon anyway |
| 8+ | Fuel cards, Nav Prime | Category-specific; only if you actually need them |
Common mistakes
- Trying to game minimums with junk orders.Vendors' fraud teams flag $50-$60 orders of random stuff. Order things you'll actually use.
- Paying invoices exactly on the due date. That generates Paydex 80. Paying 10+ days early generates 85-90. See Paydex score explained.
- Missing one invoice. Even a single 5-day-late payment tanks Paydex 15+ points. Set up ACH auto-pay for every Net-30 vendor.
- Assuming Amazon and Home Depot count for Paydex. Neither reports to D&B reliably. Focus on Uline / Quill / Grainger for Paydex specifically.
What next after 4-5 trade lines?
Once you have 4-5 reporting trade lines with 90+ days of clean history and a Paydex 75+, you're a candidate for real business credit products:
- Business credit cards (Amex Blue Business Cash, Chase Ink Cash).
- Business lines of credit ($10k-$50k opening).
- Vendor terms extensions (Net-45, Net-60 with existing vendors).
